| Which iPod is right for me? by Steve Williams at ipodsupercenter.com 12/12/2005 There are three types of iPod models - the shuffle, the nano and the iPod. All the models play music, while some add video and photo options as well. The sizes vary from a pack of gum to a deck of cards. You can get them in either color, black or white. But you ask, which one is right for me? Below I will give you all the specifications of the three different models, and recommend which model is best for you. |

shuffle: The iPod shuffle is the most affordable model. It
is good for people wanting to get their feet wet and explore the
digital medium. You are able to download a fair amount of songs,
and randomly listen to them all. However, you don't have a video
screen, so you won't be able to see what songs are being played.
You arrange the order on your computer before you download them on the
the shuffle. If you need something compact, and just want
to hear music, the shuffle is a good choice. iPod nano: The iPod nano offers everything that comes on the shuffle and a lot more! This model is good for people who want to be able to take more songs on the go, show their latest photos, and have access to all the song information in real time on a video screen. iPod: The iPod is the real work horse of the series. You can store a lot more songs and photos, as well as, view videos on the 2.5 inch LCD screen. This is ideal for someone with a lot of songs or photos. The iPod is bigger in size then the other two model, so to accomadate for the extra storage. You can also add a lot of accessories to this model, including the ability to view your entire photo library through a television. Great for showing your latest family trip. |
